Delete Your Account
Mioryde and Mioryde Partner are published by Miorigin Private Limited. You can delete your account from inside either app, and you do not need to contact us first. This page explains where to find it, what is removed, and the little that we are legally required to keep.
Delete from the Mioryde app (customers)
- Open the app and sign in.
- Tap Account in the bottom bar.
- Under More, tap Settings.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Read the summary, then tap Delete my account again to confirm.
The account is closed immediately and you are signed out on every device. A delivery that is still in progress blocks deletion until it finishes — the partner carrying it needs somebody to hand it to.
Delete from the Mioryde Partner app (drivers)
- Open the app and sign in.
- Tap the settings icon in the top right.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Read the summary, then confirm.
Deletion is held back while a job is live, while cash collected on our behalf has not been settled, or while earnings are still owed to you. The app names which of these applies and links you to the screen that clears it. This protects your money: an account closed with a balance on it is a balance nobody can pay out.
If you no longer have the app
Email support@mioryde.com from the address on your account, or from any address quoting the mobile number you signed in with. We verify that the request came from the account holder before acting on it, complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email once it is done.
What is deleted
Removed permanently, and not recoverable:
- Your name, email address and profile photo.
- Your saved addresses.
- The link between your mobile number and the account. Signing up again with the same number gives you a new, empty account.
- Every sign-in session and push notification registration, on every device.
- Your location history.
- Partner accounts only — your uploaded KYC documents (identity proof, driving licence, vehicle registration, police verification certificate) and your bank details.
- Partner accounts only — the details of any background-check review: the description of a record, the reasons given and any notes. A review that was still open, or that cleared you, is deleted completely.
What is kept, and for how long
Invoices and payment records for deliveries that were completed before deletion. Indian tax and company law requires these to be retained — the Companies Act 2013 for up to eight financial years, and the CGST Act for 72 months from the due date of the relevant annual return.
These records are held against an anonymised account. Your name, email, phone number and addresses are already gone from them, so what remains is a transaction, not a person.
Partner accounts only: if we could not approve you after a background check, we keep a record that a decision was made, with its date and category but none of the details, for up to three years for safety and in case of a legal claim, and then erase it. Nothing else is kept, and nothing kept is used to contact you or to build a profile.
