How it works

A booking, from both sides.

Six steps for the person sending goods, five for the partner carrying them. Nothing is promised about speed: it depends on partners near you.

The same steps with more detail

  1. Set the route

Pick the pickup and the drop on the map. The app plans the road route and measures the distance.

  2. Choose a vehicle

A two-wheeler, an 8ft truck or a mini truck, matched to what you describe.

  3. Say what you are sending

Choose a category, add one to four photos of the goods and declare them. The photos stay with the order.

  4. Check the fare, then confirm

The fare is shown line by line. It is held for a short time; if it lapses you are quoted again before anything is booked.

  5. Follow the partner

An independent partner with the right vehicle accepts. You get a pickup code and can watch them on the map. Send the tracking link to the receiver if you like.

  6. Hand over with a code

The partner collects with your pickup code and finishes the drop with the receiver's delivery code. A GST invoice follows.

Best fit

Two-wheeler

Up to 20 kg

Documents, tiffins, small parcels, spare parts, samples.

Fastest through traffic and narrow lanes.

Best fit

8ft truck

Up to 750 kg

Furniture, appliances, cartons of shop stock, a few sacks.

An open 8ft deck, the size most local deliveries need.

Best fit

Mini truck

Up to 1.5 tonnes

House shifting, pallets, heavy commercial loads.

For the job that would take an 8ft truck two trips.

Pricing

You see the fare, line by line, before you confirm.

Rates are set per vehicle and per city, so this site does not print a price list that could differ from the app. The fare you are quoted in the app is the fare you pay for the trip as booked. How pricing works.

Base fare
Set per vehicle on the rate card for your city.
Distance
Charged per kilometre on the route the app plans, shown with the km.
Time
Only on rate cards that charge for time.
Peak demand
Added when demand is high, named on the bill with its multiplier. Never hidden in the base.
Minimum fare
Tops up a very short trip to the vehicle's minimum.
Coupon
Comes off before tax. It can never take the fare below the minimum.
GST
At the rate the rate card charges, shown as a percentage.
Extras
After booking, the fare can change only if the job does: waiting beyond the free period shown in the app, tolls, parking, an extra stop or a changed destination.
Safety

Your goods are handed to a person who was checked.

Partners are independent, and each one is checked before the first job. These are the things that are actually in the product.

  • Two people check each partner's identity papers

Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence and the police verification certificate each need two different reviewers. The database refuses one person signing both.

  • A code to collect, a code to deliver

The partner needs your pickup code to take the goods and the receiver's delivery code to finish the drop. The delivery code is the proof of delivery.

  • Police verification, decided by a person

Every partner uploads a police verification certificate. Nothing is rejected by a machine; a record goes to a senior reviewer who did not raise it.

  • Vehicle papers that lapse stop the partner

RC, insurance, permit and fitness/PUC carry expiry dates. A lapsed licence or insurance takes the partner off duty until it is replaced.

All the safeguards, and what they do not cover

Where we work

Service areas set up across India.

Service areas are set up in 53 cities across 23 states, and more are added as we expand. A service area is a city where Mioryde will price and take a booking. How quickly a partner accepts depends on how many partners have joined in that city, and that is still growing.

Questions

Plain answers.

The short list. The full one is on the questions page.

What is Mioryde?

A goods transport service. You book a vehicle in the Mioryde app to move goods within your city, and an independent, verified partner with that vehicle collects and delivers them. Mioryde is run by Miorigin Private Limited.

How do I book?

In the Mioryde Android app: set the pickup and drop, choose a vehicle, say what you are sending and add one to four photos of it, check the fare and confirm. The app is on Google Play for Android.

How is the fare worked out?

Each vehicle has a rate card for your city: a base fare, a charge for distance, and on some rate cards a charge for time. When demand is high a peak-demand line is added and shown by name. Very short trips are charged the minimum fare, coupons come off, and GST is added. You see every line before you confirm. Waiting beyond the free period, tolls, parking or a changed destination can add to it, as the Terms explain.

Which vehicle should I choose?

A two-wheeler for documents and small parcels up to 20 kg; an 8ft truck for furniture, appliances and shop stock up to 750 kg; a mini truck for house shifting, pallets and heavy loads up to 1.5 tonnes. The app asks what you are sending so the vehicle fits the load.

Where does Mioryde work?

Mioryde is built for all of India. Service areas are set up in 53 cities across 23 states, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Pune, and more are added as we expand. A booking in any of them is priced upfront. How quickly a partner accepts depends on how many partners have joined in that city, which grows as they are onboarded.

How do I know my goods reach the right person?

Each booking has two codes. The partner needs the pickup code from you to collect the goods, and the delivery code from the receiver to complete the drop. You can share a live tracking link with the receiver, and the photos you added at booking stay with the order.
